Resources for couples: Enhance your relationship from the convenience of your own home

Resources for couples can be limited! Especially if you aren’t wanting or “needing” couples counseling, it can be challenging to find resources for couples that help inspire meaningful connection. It is important to prioritize your relationship and it can be especially hard during the chaos and transitions of 2020.
I have included some of my favorite products and books, as additional resources for couples. Each serve the purpose to help inspire connection and understanding within your relationship, as well as promote closeness. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Hold Me Tight: written by Dr. Sue Johnson presents Emotionally Focused Therapy and discusses how her approach can be applied to every relationship. Johnson teaches that the way to save and enrich a relationship is to reestablish safe emotional connection and preserve the attachment bond. Great for couples in a disconnected cycle, wanting to explore ways to rebuilding their relationship. A great resource to refer to while in couples counseling, also!
